Stainless steel electrode for repair and reloading.

Product description

High-efficiency rutilo-basic electrode (160%), depositing austenitic manganese stainless steel. Used for assemblies and hardfacing of manganese steels up to 14% Mn, heterogeneous assemblies between steels of different grades and all steels that are difficult to weld, as an undercoat prior to hardfacing. Repair of all parts subject to impact.

Ease of use, smooth melting, low spatter, self-removing slag and excellent bead appearance. Good resistance to cracking, easy machining when not work-hardened. Pressure- and friction-hardenable deposit (rails, switches, etc.).

Public works, rails, railroads, cement works, armor plates, excavator buckets, crusher jaws, etc.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
