Why choose ABRATIG Co12 filler metal?
ABRATIG Cobalt Grade 12 filler metal is recommended for specific applications requiring high resistance to abrasion, corrosion and high temperatures. Here are the main reasons for selecting this material.
- Exceptional abrasion resistance :
TIG Cobalt Grade 12 offers superior resistance to abrasive wear, both hot and cold, thanks to its carbide-rich microstructure. This characteristic makes it ideal for cutting tools and components subject to severe wear conditions.
- High-temperature resistance :
This filler metal retains its mechanical properties up to around 700°C, making it suitable for high-temperature environments.
- Corrosion resistance :
TIG Cobalt Grade 12 offers good corrosion resistance, especially in chemically aggressive environments, extending the life of welded parts.
