HF 30S
High-performance hardfacing electrode
Product description
High-efficiency (160%) rutile-coated synthetic hardfacing electrode. Good resistance to mineral wear due to friction, combined with impact and compression. Austenitic matrix containing chromium carbides. Very pleasant melting, self-releasing slag, very smooth bead requiring no further machining in most cases. Non-cracking deposit, corrosion-resistant (chromium content: 32%) and heat-resistant up to 200°C.
Can be refilled in 1, 2 or 3 coats. For all parts subject to high abrasion combined with good impact resistance. Can only be machined by grinding.
For earthmoving and crushing equipment, auger hardfacing, mixer blades, abrasive pump bodies, bucket teeth, mineral crushing plants, concrete pumps, ore crushers, ploughshares, clod breakers, brick press screws, armor plates…
