Why choose ABRAFIL 307Si?
ABRAFIL 307Si is a high-manganese, high-silicon stainless steel solid wire, specially formulated for welding dissimilar steels, high-carbon steels and manganese steels.
It is also used for maintenance, reloading and repair applications, where excellent resistance to impact and wear is required.
The advantages of 307Si welding wire :
-High mechanical strength and ductility: ideal for applications subject to shock, vibration or mechanical deformation.
– Very good behaviour on difficult steels: excellent for welding unfamiliar, hardened or dissimilar materials.
-Optimized weldability: stable arc, low spatter rate, clean, even beads.
-High silicon (Si) content: improves wettability, bath fluidity and bead appearance.
-Versatile: suitable for MIG welding, in automatic or semi-automatic mode, with various shielding gases (Ar + CO₂ / pure CO₂).
-Ideal for industrial maintenance: for tools, buckets, rails or austenitic manganese steel parts.
