Nickel-based electrode for 9% Ni steels
Product description
High-efficiency basic electrode (160%), depositing a nickel-based alloy.
Main applications are assembly, construction and repair welding of 9% nickel steels used in tank construction for liquid gas transport and storage. Good arc stability and excellent AC weldability.

Electrode drying: 250°C/2h. Use only dry electrodes. Hold electrode at 80° to workpiece. Weld with a short arc in narrow beads and on clean joints, free from grease, oil or various oxides.

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).
It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
