Abrafonte Fe
Basic special electrode for welding cast iron
Product description
Special iron-based electrode recommended for economical repair of soiled cast irons, in the presence of slag or oil, or for “burnt” used cast irons (furnace parts, boiler burners, pumps, etc.).
Excellent weldability on all grades of cast iron. Grinding deposit.
For repairs on very large welded joints (>a few passes), we recommend alternating passes with a Fonte-Ni electrode to obtain an elastic joint.
Product application instructions
Use only dry electrodes. Electrode steaming 2 h/250°C. Weld alternating small beads at low welding intensity.
