High-temperature stainless steel electrode

Product description

Basic electrode depositing an austenitic stainless steel with a composition of 26% Cr – 35% Ni – 1.2% Nb and a high carbon content.

 

Used for welding oxidation- and temperature-resistant cast steels up to 1200°C.

 

 

 

Stable arc, even melting, easy slag removal, good bead appearance.

Main applications: petrochemical industry, foundries.

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
