Stainless MIG wires for heterogeneous assemblies.
Assembly of shielding steels, high-carbon steels, spring steels or steels with limited weldability.
Its high mechanical properties, resistance to cracking, good oxidation and temperature resistance, and ease of tool machining make these wires universally applicable for welding steels considered very difficult to weld or of unknown grades.

Why choose ABRAFIL 312?

Excellent resistance to cracking
ABRAFIL 312 is designed for welding difficult materials, particularly dissimilar or hardened steels (e.g. stainless/carbon steel alloys, high-alloy steels, worn tools, repaired parts). Its deposit is highly tenacious and not very prone to cracking, even under severe conditions. -
High toughness and ductility
Even after rapid cooling or in critical environments, the weld remains strong yet flexible, limiting the risk of sudden breakage. -
Very good resistance to wear and corrosion
ABRAFIL 312 has a high chromium and nickel content (~30% Cr, ~9% Ni), offering good resistance to light corrosion and mechanical wear. -
Suitable for complex repairs
It is often used in industrial maintenance, to re-weld parts of unknown or composite composition, without the need for heavy pre-heating or in-depth metallurgical analysis.
