Why choose ABRAFIL CuSn6?

1. Very good MIG weldability

  • Excellent arc behavior, stable molten bath, even, clean beads.

  • Low-spray, highly suitable for both manual and automated work.

  • Ideal for fine and technical soldering on copper.

2. Corrosion resistance

  • Excellent resistance to humidity, seawater and industrial atmospheres.

  • Perfect for parts displayed outdoors or in marine environments.

3. Good mechanical and wear properties

  • Better mechanical strength than ABRAFIL CuSn12, with good ductility.

  • Ideal for parts subject to friction or moderate stress (slides, bearings, etc.).

4. Broad metallurgical compatibility

  • Suitable for :

    • Tin-plated bronzes (CuSn6 type or similar)

    • Non-alloyed copper

    • Heterogeneous welding between copper and certain steels (with care)

  • Often used for repairs or loading/unloading.
