Why choose this cored wire?

FCW M CrMo1 metalcored flux-cored wire is designed for MAG welding of low-alloy steels containing chromium and molybdenum (e.g. 13CrMo4-5, 15Mo3).

Thanks to its high productivity, ease of processing and metallurgical quality, it is particularly well-suited to high-pressure and high-temperature applications.

The advantages of metal-cored CrMo1 :

High productivity: higher deposition rate than solid wire or basic cored wire, perfect for high-speed jobs.

-Excellent temperature resistance: suitable for parts subjected to 500-550°C, such as boilers, manifolds or steam pipes.

-Precise, homogeneous composition: guarantees stable melting in line with the requirements of CrMo steels.

-Very low spatter rate: reduced post-weld cleaning and improved bead finish.

-Good heat treatment properties (PWHT): stable mechanical properties after post-weld tempering.

-Ideal for automated processes: even feed, stable arc, perfect for robotized lines.
