Hardfacing electrode for hot-work steels

Product description

Rutile-base-coated electrode with alloy wire, used for hardfacing hot-work tool steels (800°C), e.g. hot shear blades, extrusion dies, valves….

The deposit is impact-hardenable, highly resistant to heat and thermal shock, forging tools and rollers.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
