MS Galva
Rutile electrode for galvanized steels
Product description
Thick rutile-coated electrode particularly recommended for welding in all positions and for welding small beads using the top-down method. The deposit obtained is low-alloyed in Si and Mn. For this reason, if the material is galvanized after welding, there is no thickening of the zinc coating at the weld, and no change in the appearance of the galvanizing is visible.
Applications: welding of steel structures to be galvanized, welding of galvanizing tanks.

Why choose this basic electrode?
Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).
It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
