Abracrom 312 VAC

Stainless steel repair electrode

Product description

Rutile-base electrode depositing austenitic-ferritic steel. Especially suitable for welding dissimilar steels (stainless steel with unalloyed steel), and materials considered difficult to weld, such as tool steels, manganese steels, cast steels, spring steels, gears, cylinder rods, etc.

The deposited metal is particularly resistant to cracking and is also suitable as an undercoat prior to hardfacing and for hardfacing sharp tools. Smooth melting, attractive bead appearance, self-removing slag.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
