Abracrom 308 B

18/8 stainless steel electrode

Product description

Basic-coating electrode depositing an austenitic steel with an average ferrite content of around 8% and very low carbon content. Smooth melting, good slag release, good bead appearance.

Service temperature – 196°C to + 350°C. Use on all 18/8 stainless steels: tubes, tanks, heat exchangers, piping.

Very good behaviour in position and on poorly prepared joints.

Excellent mechanical properties.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
