Abracrom 347

Niobium-stabilized 18/8 stainless steel electrode

Product description

Rutile-base-coated electrode depositing a niobium-stabilized, austenitic 18%Cr – 8%Ni stainless steel. Average deposit ferrite content 8%.

Used for welding titanium- or niobium-stabilized steels.

Very gentle melting without spraying. Instant re-priming, automatic slag removal. Coating insensitive to moisture pick-up, very good resistance to corrosive environments and very good resistance to intercrystalline corrosion.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
