Product description
Filler metal for welding duplex, super-duplex and super-austenitic stainless steels, as well as nickel alloys such as UNS N06059 and N06022, INCONEL alloy C-276, and INCONEL alloys 622, C22, 625, alloy 31, 1.4562 and Ni6686.
It can also be used to deposit exceptionally corrosion-resistant coatings on a range of steels.
High levels of alloying (Cr + Mo + W) translate into increased resistance to pitting, crevices and general corrosion.
Ni6686 is very useful for service environments requiring general corrosion resistance in HCI or sulfuric acid; for resistance to crevice corrosion in hot, concentrated acid chloride solutions such as sulfur dioxide-saturated NaCl solutions and oxidizing chloride solutions; and for resistance to intergranular attack, and for resistance to intergranular attack, after sensitization, in strongly oxidizing environments. Why choose ABRATIG Ni6686 filler metal?
ERNiCrMo-14 TIG filler metal is chosen for welding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys exposed to extreme environments. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and oxidizing environments, making it ideal for the chemical and petrochemical industries. Its high molybdenum content enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It maintains good mechanical strength at high temperatures, ensuring the reliability of welds under thermal stress. Finally, it is used to assemble or repair alloys such as Hastelloy® and other superalloys.
