Product description
It is specially formulated for welding self-smoothing steels, such as Corten A or B steels, used in structural and architectural applications where resistance to atmospheric corrosion is paramount. This wire produces durable, mechanically reliable welds that are visually homogeneous with the base material.

Why choose ABRAFIL CT?
1. Perfect compatibility with Corten steels
ABRAFIL CT contains alloying elements (Cu, Cr, Ni) adapted to form, after welding, a patina similar to that of Corten steel. This guarantees :
-
Aesthetic uniformity (no differences in shade or oxidation)
-
Atmospheric corrosion resistance equivalent to that of the base material
2. High mechanical strength
Designed for outdoor structures exposed to the elements, this wire offers excellent strength, even under conditions of mechanical stress or fatigue.
3. Easy to use in MIG
ABRAFIL CT provides stable weldability, with low spatter, good fusion and regular beads. It can be used for both new manufacture and repair.
