Why choose ABRAFIL CuSn12?
1. Excellent corrosion resistance
-
ABRAFIL CuSn12 offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine or damp environments.
-
Good resistance to weak acids, salt water, atmospheric agents → perfect for parts exposed to the outdoors or water.
2. High mechanical and wear resistance
-
Thanks to its tin content, it has excellent mechanical properties: tensile strength, hardness and abrasion resistance.
-
Excellent choice for friction parts, bearings, bushings, etc.
3. Excellent MIG weldability
-
Excellent arc behavior, fluid but controllable bathing.
-
Less prone to porosity than other copper alloys, provided parts are thoroughly cleaned and the bath is protected with pure argon.
-
Clean welds, few spatters.
