Why choose ABRAFIL CuSn12?

1. Excellent corrosion resistance

  • ABRAFIL CuSn12 offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in marine or damp environments.

  • Good resistance to weak acids, salt water, atmospheric agents → perfect for parts exposed to the outdoors or water.

2. High mechanical and wear resistance

  • Thanks to its tin content, it has excellent mechanical properties: tensile strength, hardness and abrasion resistance.

  • Excellent choice for friction parts, bearings, bushings, etc.

3. Excellent MIG weldability

  • Excellent arc behavior, fluid but controllable bathing.

  • Less prone to porosity than other copper alloys, provided parts are thoroughly cleaned and the bath is protected with pure argon.

  • Clean welds, few spatters.
