Why choose ABRAFIL CuAl9Fe?
1. Outstanding corrosion resistance
Thanks to its aluminum (~9%) and iron (~1%) content, this wire is particularly resistant to corrosion, even in aggressive marine or industrial environments. It forms a protective oxide layer that enhances its durability.
2. Excellent mechanical and wear resistance
CuAl9Fe offers high hardness and good impact strength, making it an excellent choice for parts subject to mechanical stress, impact or abrasion (bearings, bushings, propellers, etc.).
3. Welding dissimilar materials
This wire can also be used to weld copper alloys with steels or cast irons, serving as a transition metal in complex assemblies.
4. Excellent resistance to high temperatures
It retains its mechanical properties even at high temperatures, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications.
