Product description

– Rutile-type stainless flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding

– 24% chromium – 13% nickel – 3% molybdenum – low-carbon deposit

– Attractive, spatter-free weldability, outstanding arc stability and pay-off quality

– Automatic slag removal, good bead appearance and excellent radiographic quality

– High productivity for welding in horizontal position

– Can be welded under mixed gas or CO2

Product application instructions

APPLICATIONS

– Joining steels of corresponding grade or ferritic stainless steels

– Joining stainless steels with non- or low-alloy steels

– Reconstitution or undercoating before plating or reloading

– Repair work on steels with limited weldability

Examples:

Heterogeneous joints between CrNiMo stainless steels and non/low-alloy CMn steels, for service temperatures up to 350°C FCW S 309LMo benefits from greater dilution tolerance than 309L due to its higher degree of alloying and higher ferrite content in the deposited metal. Compared with 312, it has a better mechanical strength/ductility ratio.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
