Product description

– Metal cored stainless steel wire for gas shielded arc welding

– 18% chromium – 8% nickel – 6% manganese deposit

– Enhanced productivity, improved weldability, better wetting properties compared to solid wires

– Excellent weld metal quality and X-ray soundness

Product application instructions

APPLICATIONS

– Repair jobs where high strength and toughness combined with workhardening are required.

– Joining austenitic manganese steels with them or with other steels.

– Buffer layer before hardfacing.

– Maintenance on air hardenable and “hard-to-weld steels”.

– Armour plate.

– Joining 14% manganese steels.

Welding positions

EN ISO 6947:PA, PB.

ASME IX:1F, 1G, 2F.

FCW Sub 307 is primarily used in the flat and horizontal-vertical positions. However, welds in other positions are also possible using the short-circuiting or pulsed arc modes of transfer.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
