Why choose this cored wire?
FCW S 317L is a rutile stainless steel flux-cored wire specially designed for welding type 317L austenitic stainless steels. Thanks to its molybdenum-enriched composition, it offers enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in environments containing chlorides, acids or aggressive chemical environments.
The advantages of the FCW S 317L :
Excellent resistance to localized corrosion: ideal for chloride-rich environments, such as chemical plants, water treatment plants or the marine industry.
-Excellent bow performance: stable bow, smooth wetting, even stringing and aesthetic appearance.
-Low spatter rate and self-removing slag: reduces cleaning time and improves productivity.
-Controlled chemical composition: with a low carbon content (317L) to limit carbide precipitation and guarantee resistance to intergranular corrosion.
– Welding versatility: can be used effectively with different gas mixtures (Ar + CO₂ or Ar + O₂) and in several positions.
-Consistent deposit quality: complies with the most stringent industrial standards (petrochemicals, water treatment, agro-industry, etc.).
