HF 600RS
~ 600 HB ; 55-60 HRC | Obtained in pure weld metal, 2-3 layers
Product description
Rutile-base-coated electrode for hardfacing machine, construction or tool parts subject to high abrasion due to pressure and impact. Air-hardening deposited metal, excellent compromise between abrasion resistance and impact strength. Compact, porosity-free deposit. Machinable by grinding, excellent weldability even with very low firing voltage, smooth melting, low spattering, very spread-out bead.
Applications: Reloading of dies, scrapers, buckets and bucket teeth, excavation equipment, chisels, screw conveyors, track links, cutting tools, crushing cones…

Why choose this basic electrode?
Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).
It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
