Abranel 59

Nickel-based electrode with very high corrosion resistance

Product description

Basic-coated, alloyed core Nickel-base alloy 59 electrode for joining Nickel-base steels of similar grade, and for joining other special stainless alloys with high corrosion resistance. The special composition of the deposit (Ni-Cr-Mo) makes it highly resistant to corrosion in sulfuric acid in the presence of chlorides. Good weldability, stable arc, good slag release, attractive bead appearance.

Main applications: Off-shore equipment and installations, tanks and piping in the chemical and petrochemical industries, flue gas desulfurization equipment.
