Aluminum electrode with 5% silicon for assembly and repair of aluminum and aluminum alloy parts (A1Si, AlCuSiMn, A1SiMg, AlZnMg…).

Properly clean the joints to be welded. Preheat solid parts (> 6 mm thick) from 150°C to 250°C. Weld with a very short arc and hold the electrode at 90° to the part to be welded, to avoid any risk of porosity.
Caution! Aluminum electrodes are very sensitive to moisture: keep opened cases in a dry place. If moisture returns, re-dry the electrodes at 100°C/2h.
