Refractory stainless steel electrode

Product description

Basic electrode depositing a fully austenitic steel designed to resist corrosion and oxidation up to 1150°C. Regular, stable melting, good slag release, good bead appearance, good resistance to hot cracking.

 

 

Main applications: furnaces, boilers, thermal appliances, petrochemical, paper and pharmaceutical industries, etc.

Avoid prolonged stays at 600° 850°C (sigma phase formation). If necessary, bake for 2 hours at 250°C. Maximum temperature between passes: 150°C.

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
