Abracrom 308 HB

High-carbon basic stainless steel electrode

Product description

Basic-coating electrode depositing an austenitic steel with an average ferrite content of around 5% and a high carbon content.

Service temperature – up to + 750°C. Use on all 19%Cr, 9%Ni, high-carbon steels.

Smooth melting, good slag release, good bead appearance, very good behavior in position and on poorly prepared joints. Excellent mechanical properties.

Used in the petrochemical industry: tubes, heat exchangers, piping.
