Why choose ABRATIG 347Si filler metal?
ABRATIG 347Si is a filler metal for welding niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels such as 321 and 347.
It is particularly recommended for high-temperature applications, as it resists intergranular corrosion even after prolonged exposure to heat. The presence of silicon (Si) improves the fluidity of the melt, resulting in smooth, even beads.
It offers good oxidation resistance up to 850°C.
It also guarantees good mechanical strength and weldability, even in thin thicknesses.
Finally, its structural stability ensures long-lasting performance without the need for post-weld heat treatment.
