APPLICATIONS

The FCW 100 is suitable for rebuilding or hardfacing parts subject to metal-on-metal wear under high pressure, possibly in the presence of corrosive media: pumps and pump casings, valves, ship propellers and propeller shafts, gears, bearings, etc.

Why choose this cored wire?

  1. Exceptional resistance to seizure and metal-to-metal friction

The FCW 100-G is ideal for parts in sliding or prolonged contact, such as :

-tree spans,

-axes,

-rings,

-guides and seats.

It prevents bonding under pressure (“fretting” effect), even without lubrication.

  1. Excellent corrosion resistance, even in marine environments

Thanks to its copper-aluminium base, this wire offers excellent resistance to oxidation and salt water, making it an excellent choice for :

-the navy,

-water treatment plants,

-chemical industries.

  1. Excellent vibration and shock damping

The FCW 100-G deposit remains relatively ductile, enabling it to absorb mechanical stress, prevent cracking and extend part life.
