FCW 625
Nickel-based flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding
Product description
– Nickel-based flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding
– Latest-generation basic slag guarantees optimum metallurgical quality and weldability
– Complies with NiCrMo-3 classification
– FCW 625 offers many advantages over solid wire: improved weldability, better wetting, clean white beads, very good penetration, use of conventional mixed gas.
– High productivity for welding in horizontal position.
Product application instructions
APPLICATIONS
FCW 625 is suitable for joining and plating nickel-base alloys of the corresponding grade. It is also used for heterogeneous assemblies of different nickel bases with each other or with low-alloy or stainless steels. FCW 625 can also be used for joining 6% molybdenum austenitic stainless steels.

Why choose this cored wire?
-
Excellent corrosion resistance
➤ Ideal for use in chlorinated, acidic, marine or high-temperature environments. It is also highly resistant to stress corrosion and pitting. -
Excellent high-temperature resistance
➤ Mechanically and chemically stable up to 980°C. Perfect for cyclic or constant thermal environments. -
High mechanical and fatigue strength
➤ Very tough deposit, with excellent resistance to mechanical stress, even under dynamic conditions. -
Excellent weldability
➤ Smooth melting, stable arc, low cracking – even on sensitive materials (stainless steels, nickel alloys, C-Mn steels, etc.). -
Versatile in hardfacing or assembly
➤ Used for welding Ni alloys, stainless steels, or as a buffer layer before hardfacing.
