Why choose this cored wire?
FCW V 308L is a rutile stainless steel flux-cored wire for welding type 304 / 304L / 1.4301 / 1.4306 austenitic stainless steels.
Designed for MIG/MAG processes, it guarantees excellent weld quality, excellent corrosion resistance and optimum handling, even in difficult positions.
The advantages of the FCW V 308L :
-Excellent weldability: stable arc, even beads and low spatter rate, for clean, fast work.
-Low carbon content (308L): reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding, even without heat treatment.
Easy-to-remove slag and aesthetic cord: clean finish, ideal for visible welds or in the food industry.
-Suitable for all positions: thanks to its rutile coating, the wire is easy to use in upright, flat or angled positions.
-Can be used with conventional gases (Ar + CO₂): no need for special gases, flexible solution in the workshop or on site.
-Good general corrosion resistance: suitable for food, damp or slightly chemical environments.
