Acor Mn S
Bronze-manganese electrode
Product description
Basic-coating electrode depositing a Manganese-Bronze alloy (CuMnAlNi) for assembly and cladding of Aluminium-Copper-Bronze alloys, as well as for heterogeneous assemblies between steels and copper alloys. Also recommended for hardfacing steels, various ferrous alloys and non-ferrous metals.
Very good weldability, stable arc, low spatter, very good slag release.
Main applications: Shipbuilding and the chemical industry (propellers, pumps, armatures, etc.). Its favorable coefficient of friction also makes it ideal for hardfacing guideways, gears and other anti-friction surfaces.

Why choose this basic electrode?
Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).
It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
