Abracrom 309 L VAC

Stainless steel repair electrode

Product description

Rutile-base electrode depositing a very low-carbon austenitic steel with an average ferrite content of 15%. Used for joining dissimilar steel grades, such as stainless steel to alloy steel. Also suitable for welding refractory steels, as an undercoat before hardfacing, for repairing civil engineering equipment parts, and as an intermediate layer when welding 18/8-type clad steels.

Smooth melting, attractive bead appearance, self-releasing slag.
