Recycling and waste
Equipment in sorting centers, incinerators and processing plants is subject to extreme wear and tear. Our electrodes and welding wires can be used to efficiently recharge, reinforce and repair shredders, augers, hoppers, grabs or compactors, guaranteeing performance, safety and longevity.
Read moreRecycling and waste processing plants are subject to particularly severe conditions of wear and tear: abrasion by processed materials, mechanical shocks, corrosion and soiling.
Welding is indispensable for the maintenance of equipment such as shredders, augers, hoppers, grabs, compactors, presses and conveyors. Electrodes and hardfacing wires are used to restore worn surfaces, reinforce sensitive areas and extend component life. Specific alloys ensure excellent resistance to abrasion and chemical aggression, even in highly variable environments.
Thanks to these solutions, unplanned shutdowns are reduced, plant reliability is enhanced, and the overall performance of treatment units is maintained.

A few examples
-
Clamshell buckets - ABRAFIL 307Si
Its high toughness and resistance to repeated impact make it ideal for clamshell bucket reloading. Its composition tolerates low-alloy steels that are difficult to weld, while ensuring good ductility. It offers excellent resistance to abrasive and severe mechanical environments.
-
Hammers - FCW K 600-G
It is ideally suited to the hardfacing of hammers subjected to high impact and abrasion loads. Its high-carbon martensitic deposit provides high hardness while retaining good impact resistance. It effectively extends the service life of crushing and demolition tools.
