Why use cored wire?
FCW R40-G cored wire is used for hardfacing parts subject to moderate wear due to abrasion and impact.
It offers a tough, low-cracking deposit, with a hardness of around 40-45 HRC, ideal for multi-pass repairs and hardfacing.
Suitable for applications requiring a certain ductility, such as mechanical parts or handling tools.
Well suited to heavy industrial sectors where a good compromise between strength and flexibility is required.
This is a versatile and economical wire, perfect for routine maintenance operations.
