FCW 182

Nickel-based flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding

Product description

– Nickel-based flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding

– Latest-generation basic slag guarantees optimum metallurgical quality and weldability

– Complies with NiCrFe-3 classification

– FCW 182 offers many advantages over solid wire: improved weldability, greater resistance to cracking, better wetting, clean white beads, very good penetration, use of conventional mixed gas.

– High productivity for welding in horizontal position.

Product application instructions

– FCW 182 is suitable for joining and plating nickel-base alloys of corresponding grades, such as alloy 600.

– Also used for heterogeneous joints between different nickel bases or with low-alloy or stainless steels.

– Optimum filler metal for heterogeneous assemblies between creep-resistant ferritic steels (CrMo steels) and austenitic stainless steels, where service temperatures exceed 400°C.

– Assembly and repair work on steels with limited weldability

– Repair of furnace linings in cement works
