Product description

– Slag-free stainless flux-cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding

– Super duplex austenitic-ferritic deposit of the 25% chromium – 9% nickel – 4% molybdenum – copper – nitrogen – low-carbon type

– PREN >40

– Greater weldability and productivity than corresponding solid wires

– Very secure penetration, good wetting, excellent radiographic quality

– High welding speed in horizontal position

– Can be welded under pure argon, avoiding the use of nitrogen-doped gases

Product application instructions

APPLICATIONS

FCW Sub D57L is suitable for joining stainless steels of the corresponding grade, as well as for heterogeneous joints between these steels and other stainless steels or non/low-alloy steels.

Welding positions

EN ISO 6947: PA, PB.

ASME IX: 1G, 1F, 2F.

FCW Sub D57L is primarily used in the flat and horizontal-vertical positions. However, welds in other positions are also possible using the short-circuiting or pulsed arc modes of transfer.

Why choose this basic electrode?

Vacuum-packed 5 or 6Kg electrode for welding highly stressed steel assemblies (carbon and carbon manganese) (tensile strength up to 510 MPa).

It features excellent mechanical properties, particularly at low temperatures.
